Strategic Financial Planning Leader

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to oversee strategic budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for multiple regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business drivers and financial metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts to drive business growth and optimize resource allocation.
  • Analyze and present financial results, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs, track performance, and drive operational efficiency through process improvements.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, identifying drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations and dashboards to support board meetings and executive reviews, showcasing business insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, investment opportunities, and risk analysis, providing stakeholders with actionable data.
  • Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to increase forecasting accuracy, automation, and efficiency, freeing up resources for higher-value activities.
  • Mentor and manage the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through training and development programs.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 20 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, Business finance.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives, driving cost savings and improving efficiency.
  • A strong understanding of business process mapping with ERP/accounting software experience, able to analyze and improve business processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional projects and teams.
