Job Title: MDM Data Governance SpecialistAbout the Position:

The MDM Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and managing master data attributes from existing master data repositories and systems of records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough analysis of master data attributes to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and system subject matter experts to create and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain SQL and Python scripts to cleanse and transform critical master data elements.
  • Integrate cleansing scripts with third-party address verification services for address standardization.
  • Test and validate the cleansing scripts for various domains and business units in an iterative fashion.
  • Design and execute integration testing scripts and test cases.
  • Identify and resolve issues with the cleansing scripts and provide support to the migration team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience working as a Master Data and Data Quality Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud for master data management.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, batch scripting, and Python programming.
  • Experience with working on critical data elements for customer master, supplier master, product master, location master, and other domains.
  • Ability to develop reusable and parameterized scripts that can be applied across business units and domains.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for attribute-level analysis and debugging.
  • Working knowledge of MS Dynamics is an added advantage.
