Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume responsibility for managing and overseeing the integrity of our data assets. This strategic role will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our data governance initiatives meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as a subject matter expert in best practices for data governance, guaranteeing appropriate safeguards are in place to protect sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate active ownership of specific data domains, processes, and procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Create/edit comprehensive data requirements, data models, data dictionaries, process maps, and data lineage/mapping documents.
  • Utilize a standardized approach to capture and document metadata across data domains, adhering to industry-recognized standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather and address data requirements and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Develop measurable valuation and quality metrics to track performance and share them across business units.
  • Manage metadata and data quality processes using advanced tools like Informatica, Collibra, SAP, and Microsoft 365.
  • Implement effective solutions for tagging and classifying unstructured data (e.g., PII) across various platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, and internal ERP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with established regulatory frameworks including ISO standards, GDPR, SOX, and internal AI data controls.
  • Manage digital assets within DTUS (Data Technology Unified Services) and oversee lifecycle governance for SuccessFactors/HXM data.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, monitoring results and conducting benchmarking activities to optimize performance.
  • Guarantee adherence to industry standards, data quality, problem management, and change management principles.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office to integrate governance into project lifecycles, including data migration.
  • Lead organizational change management and training related to the rollout and ongoing activities of the Data Governance program.
  • Qualifications include 3–5 years of experience in data management, expertise in relational database theories, and proven ability to influence stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Technical, Data Science, or Statistics.
  • Additional qualifications based on client feedback: experience working with Informatica, SAP, Collibra, and Microsoft 365 platforms, familiarity with data privacy regulations, and experience managing unstructured data.
