Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer Role

We're seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Faridabad.

Job Description:

This electrical instrumentation engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and instrumentation used in thermal engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Development: Create electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts.
  • Component Selection: Select and specify sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters.
  • Control System Development: Develop PLC/SCADA logic for control systems (preferably Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
  • Installation and Testing: Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning.
  • Integration and Coordination: Coordinate with mechanical, design, and purchase teams for integrated system delivery.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintain documentation: BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, O&M manuals.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects (furnaces, boilers, process plants preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    • PLC Programming: Hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, etc.).
    • HMI/SCADA Development: HMI/SCADA development experience.
    • Power Distribution: Knowledge of VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics.
    • Instrumentation: Experience with sensors and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.
    • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan (preferred), and Excel.
    • Industrial Safety Practices: Understanding of industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance.
