Murex Technical Support Consultant

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled IT professional to provide technical support for the Murex platform, ensuring high availability, swift incident resolution, and production stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will monitor and support Murex applications to guarantee their availability and performance.
  • They will troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within predetermined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
  • A key aspect of this role is performing log analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing permanent fixes.
  • Additionally, they will coordinate with infrastructure, DBA, and network teams for environment-related issues.
  • Supporting system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities will also be an integral part of this position.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in IT support with hands-on exposure to Python/Java, Cloud (AWS & Azure), and PostgreSQL.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience with Murex is required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities are necessary for success in this role.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience with automation or scripting for production support would be beneficial.
  • Exposure to financial products and trading systems is desirable.
