Function Manager Role Overview

As a seasoned professional in the automotive industry, we seek an experienced Functional Specialist to lead the design, development, and integration of body systems.

This strategic position involves assuming full accountability for the entire lifecycle of body-related vehicle features from concept through production and post-launch support.

  • Own the development and integration of electrical and electronic architecture within body systems.
  • Define and manage system and subsystem requirements, focusing on both functional and non-functional aspects.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the product development cycle, ensuring seamless communication and effective decision-making.

  • Apply analytical techniques, model-based design, and simulation toolsets to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with various communication protocols, including A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, and LVDS.
  • Proficient use of Vehicle Network tools, such as CANalyzer and CANoe.
  • Experience with modern tool landscapes like JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, Github, and JFROG.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by 5-10 years of experience in similar positions.

  • Rich experience across closures, interiors, and safety aspects.
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
