Job Summary

  • Translate test cases to automation scripts utilizing C# for GUI and API testing.
  • Adhere to established coding standards and guidelines.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications in a client-server environment.
  • Proactively contribute to both manual and automation testing efforts.
  • Demonstrate expertise in web-based architecture and resolve any encountered web or server errors.
  • Understand functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing methodologies, adhering to Agile development principles.
  • Review code and rectify identified issues during scheduled automation runs.
  • Analyze script failures and logged bugs.
  • Submit and track defects identified through automation testing.
  • Evaluate and escalate deviations from standard operating procedures promptly.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge in software development life cycles (SDLC) and system testing life cycles (STLC).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in automation testing.
  • Expertise in C# programming language.
  • Experience in testing web services and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with service testing tools such as Fiddler, SOAP UI, Postman, Protractor, and Playwright.
