Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing timely, relevant, and accurate information and insightful analysis to facilitate senior management decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with experience in driving digital transformation journeys and increasing utilization of BI tools. You will also be proficient in understanding diverse internal and external data sources and their architecture, as well as integrating various data sources for seamless automation of business analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop capabilities to drive swift data extraction and visualization, bringing visibility and transparency to key business metrics.
  • Focus on finding meaningful insights to support continued and sustainable profitable growth of the business.
  1. Drive improvement in conversion cost and site fixed overhead vs budget and historical periods. Bring actionable insights, identify focus areas, and run simulations for site management to optimize cost levels in line with forecasted business activity.
  2. Drive digital transformation journey of finance function and increase utilization of BI tools, especially Power BI.
  3. Understand diverse internal and external data sources and their architecture. Integrate various data sources for seamless automation of business analysis, resulting in optimization of core financial workflows and enhancing efficiencies.
  4. Perform analysis using large complex datasets, enhance reports to improve performance tracking against targets, and trend identification.
  5. Contribute effectively in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including developing templates for end-to-end budget planning and forecasting.
  6. Build and foster strong cross-functional relationships across business constituencies and stakeholders, particularly group support functions like Supply Chain, Manufacturing Ops, and Procurement.
  7. Price, Mix, and Volume Analysis for Margin Improvements.
  8. Proactively participate in various business improvement/ad hoc projects.
  9. Manage overall Financial Reporting and Analysis activities, producing standard reporting, ad-hoc reporting, presentation materials, and non-pricing/profitability (costing) analysis for the business in accordance with defined standards.
