Job Overview

The Field Applications Engineer plays a pivotal role in assisting industry customers with the integration of our tools into their processes, driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Foster strong relationships with customers as a technical partner, delivering tailored solutions to address their unique challenges and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support in India to ensure seamless tool adoption and minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve customer issues, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain open communication channels with customers, offering expert guidance and support throughout the application development process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs, providing valuable insights to inform product development and improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field; an advanced degree is highly beneficial.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar field, preferably with hands-on expertise in SDB (Small Dual Beam) or related process use cases.
  • Strong understanding of process development in the semiconductor industry, with knowledge of characterization, failure analysis, and metrology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers.
  • Willingness to travel domestically in India and possess a valid passport.
