Job Title: Community Relations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Community Relations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies to maintain brand consistency across all communications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective PR campaigns and strategies
  • Write, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and media content
  • Collaborate with media outlets, journalists, and influencers for coverage
  • Monitor media coverage and create reports on PR activities
  • Support event planning, press conferences, and promotional activities
  • Maintain and update the media contact database

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of public relations, media, and communications
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Prior Experience:

  • Prior experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media relations is preferred
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Hootsuite)
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and graphic design tools

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
