Job Opportunity: DFT Architect Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement complex Digital Fault Tolerant (DFT) architectures for System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design specialists, to ensure seamless integration of DFT solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in industry-standard DFT tools and methodologies from leading vendors.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the DFT team, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing.
  • Utilize automation skills in Python, Perl, and TCL to streamline DFT flows and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing DFT architectures for SoC designs.
  • Strong understanding of DFT methodologies, including scan, ATPG, MBIST, and boundary scan insertion and validation.
  • Expertise in industry-standard DFT tools, such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, and TCL for automation of DFT flows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex test issues, and deliver high-quality DFT solutions within tight schedules.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical standards and exposure to High-Speed IO testing is an asset.
