Job Title: Operations Associate

Amber is a long-term accommodation booking platform for students. Our platform helps 80 million students worldwide find and book full-time accommodations near their universities without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized paperwork, and broken payment processes.

We are the leading student housing platform globally with over one million student housing units listed in six countries and across eighty cities. We are growing rapidly and targeting $1 billion in annual gross bookings value by 2024.

As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with inbound leads, guiding them through the booking process, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Conversion:
  • Proactively engage with inbound leads and guide them through the booking process to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Customer Interaction:
  • Understand students' unique requirements and provide personalized accommodation recommendations.
Market Expertise:
  • Build in-depth knowledge of student housing options, pricing, and locations to offer expert advice.
Follow-Up:
  • Maintain strong relationships with potential clients through consistent and timely follow-ups to ensure closure.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Marketing and Supply teams to optimize the booking process and enhance the customer experience.
Data Management:
  • Accurately record and manage all customer interactions, inquiries, and bookings in the CRM system.
Target Achievement:
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance benchmarks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills in neutral English, strong active listening skills, effective time management and organizational abilities, proficiency in objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques, familiarity with CRM tools or similar software, prior experience in telesales or a related field is a plus, industry experience in real estate, hospitality, business development, or customer service is preferred, and a graduate with at least 60% in academics.
