Speech Therapy Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapy Professional to join our team of dedicated specialists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and developing Individualised Therapy Plans (ITPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. They will provide one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit students' communication abilities using standardised tests and informal evaluations.
  • Develop and implement ITPs based on students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide speech therapy sessions to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adapting therapy plans as needed.
  • Educate and train staff on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Participate in case conferences and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist (as per local/state regulations).
  • 3-7 years experience working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and instructional strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and patient skills.
