Lead Luxury Sales & Brand Strategy

Nolwa Studio is a renowned design studio and gallery based in India. Our mission is to create collectible objects of art and design by combining traditional crafts with contemporary perspectives.

About the Role

This senior leadership position combines sales leadership and brand strategy. As a champion, you will elevate our presence across national and international platforms, from galleries and collectors to cultural institutions and design fairs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Partnerships:
    • Create personalized outreach strategies to engage potential clients.
    • Curate industry professionals for 1:1 conversations and design immersive experiences or events.
    • Research and lead outreach efforts for national and international galleries aligned with our ethos.
    • Initiate acquisition opportunities and conversations with relevant departments and curators.
    • Evaluate curated sales platforms, online marketplaces, and luxury retail partnerships.
    • Handle collaboration requests, assess alignment, and manage negotiations, contracts, and communications.
    • Manage and respond to sales inquiries, nurturing relationships with potential clients.
    • Represent Nolwa Studio across online and offline platforms, including exhibitions, talks, and design gatherings.
  • Brand Custodianship & Strategy:
    • Be the bridge between the brand internally and external consultants to ensure translated touchpoints.
    • Collaborate on fairs, awards, and exhibitions that align with our brand narrative and growth vision.
    • Position Nolwa in unexpected contexts – forging our path in luxury without clichés.
    • Create compelling narratives across digital channels – focusing on product storytelling, process, and brand philosophy.
    • Elevate our presence in the design and art worlds through messaging consistency and PR alignment.
