Senior Oracle Golden Gate Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Golden Gate administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex Oracle Golden Gate architectures in a Unix environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Golden Gate concepts, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless data replication and synchronization across our distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Oracle Golden Gate architectures to meet business requirements
  • Configure and manage Oracle Golden Gate adapters and connectors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors in Golden Gate active-active replication environments
  • Perform Golden Gate upgrades, replication, migration (RMAN, datapump, etc.), error resolution, and restarts without data loss
  • Monitor and optimize Golden Gate performance to ensure high availability and data integrity
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Golden Gate installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC and Unix environments
  • Experience with Golden Gate MAA setup, downstream mining, and integrated components
  • Ability to design and implement high-availability solutions using Oracle DBFS and Active DataGuard
  • Experience with Golden Gate Studio or integrating with Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Knowledge of Oracle cloud and Data Integration Platform Cloud Service (DIPC)
