Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our team of Oracle database administrators. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Grid Installation and Upgradation, as well as experience with Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and Golden Gate.

Responsibilities
  • Expert level understanding of Oracle database architecture.
  • Able to work collaboratively with various teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Specialized knowledge of Oracle RAC, with a good understanding of complexity across Servers, OS, network, and storage layer.
  • Experience working on Oracle Engineered systems viz Exadata, SSC box & ExaCM.
  • SQL tuning skills and experience at refactoring sql queries to improve performance.
  • Able to diagnose performance issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to traverse across infrastructure layer to diagnosis issues.
  • Expertise in HA features of Oracle database.
  • Complete understanding of Oracle database's backup recovery options.
  • Able to work under pressure in production environment on databases on all flavours of OS.
  • Good communication skills required.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 18+ Years
  • Domain exp: Prior working exp on Telecom or BFSI companies
