Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial and procurement aspects within IT categories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, peers, and internal business partners.
  • Lead and execute strategic and tactical projects.
  • Ensure spend categorization and compliance with sourcing processes.
  • Execute RFP/RFCQ processes for assigned categories.
  • Define and implement plans in line with category strategy.
  • Consolidate supplier base and pursue alternative sources.
  • Conduct market research for assigned category.
  • Establish regular communications with key internal business partners.
  • Accurate collection and reporting of project managed contracts and expenditure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
  • Significant experience of procurement/sourcing and contracting for Cloud Services.
  • Understanding of how to analyse a category cost structure.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience or good understanding of electronic procurement/sourcing tools.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Source/Procure-to-Pay processes and tools.
  • Experience working within a strong compliance and regulatory culture.
  • Strong risk and control culture and understanding of Supplier Screening programs.
  • Ability to extract detailed procurement requirements from internal stakeholders.
  • Tenacious and resilient approach.
  • Collaborative style with experience navigating through matrix organizational responsibilities.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
