Procurement Manager Role

This Procurement Manager will oversee the entire process, from identifying reliable vendors to negotiating cost-effective purchases. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and negotiation abilities. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Supply Chain/Engineering/Management, along with 2-5 years of experience in procurement/purchase in a manufacturing/industrial setup, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement plans to meet our business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Establish relationships with suppliers, evaluate their performance, and negotiate contracts.
  • Purchase Operations: Issue Purchase Orders (POs), ensure timely procurement, and monitor stock levels.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives, benchmark prices, and identify opportunities for bulk/long-term contracts.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records, ensure compliance with company policies, and coordinate with finance.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with production, quality, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
