Job Specification : Process Specialist – Procurement Ops

The role focuses on managing end-to-end transactional procurement process, improving process reliability and service level, increasing overall quality and automation, and capturing value on key focus areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service, etc.)
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the GBS function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests which includes PR to PO conversion from initiation through to order fulfillment.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Conduct timely communication upon inquiries from internal/external "customers"/concerned groups
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures, and adhere to standardized processes
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders
  • Timely identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations
  • Operational compliance on all regulatory, internal/external guidelines and support on audit activities

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor, supply chain management or related field preferred.
  • Business Experience
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience, with strong negotiation skills
  • SAP module knowledge and experience
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures
