Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge O-RAN system architectures.
  • Design and deploy open interfaces (e.g., 7.2x fronthaul, E2, A1) for seamless multi-vendor interoperability.
  • Expertise in developing LTE/5G protocol layers: MAC/SCH/RLC/PDCP/eGTP/RRC.
  • Hands-on experience in MAC-PHY integration, nFAPI/FAPI.
  • Develop and optimize software for real-time and non-real-time processing in Distributed Unit (DU) and Centralized Unit (CU).
  • Lead the integration of O-RAN components in virtualized (VMware, OpenStack, KVM, ESXi) and containerized (Kubernetes, RHOCP) environments.
  • Configure and optimize Container Network Interfaces (CNI) such as OVN, Calico, SR-IOV, Multus, and virtual switching (OVS-DPDK, PCI-Passthrough) for low-latency, high-throughput performance.
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end call flows for 4G, VoLTE, and 5G (NSA/SA) use cases.
  • In-depth knowledge of LTE/5G Air interface, particularly on the gNB/eNodeB stack development.
  • Strong understanding of 5G-NR 3GPP Specification.
  • Proficiency in Linux environment using C/C++ for Linux-based targets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
