Job Description

The role of a Senior Network Engineer is to provide expert-level support for network planning, design, implementation and maintenance across the project lifecycle.

This involves acting as a key technical resource, providing guidance and leadership on complex network-related projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Design, implement and maintain high-performance networks, including campus and data center environments.
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A strong background in network administration, designing, planning, implementation, installation, configuration, maintenance, security policies and troubleshooting.

Expert-level knowledge of switching and routing protocols, including VLAN, VTP, STP, FHRP, LACP, VDC, VPC and Fabric Path.

Experience with Cisco SD Access design, implementation and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, especially for Azure.

Hands-on experience with troubleshooting on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms, Cisco Firepower Series Firewalls, Aruba (Wireless AP and Controllers), Juniper Firewalls, Cyberoam Firewalls, Cisco unified computing platforms, Dell unified switches, Virtualization platform related network, VMware NSX.

Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach.

Well-versed with ITIL V3/V4 approach. (Incident, Service Request and Change Management processes)
