Job Summary:
The role of an Electrical Draftsman involves creating detailed drawings and designs for control panels and wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities:
- Create panel integration drawings, shop drawings, and wiring connections that adhere to company engineering procedures.
- Perform material requirements calculations based on latest approved shop drawings.
- Provide regular work status updates to team members.
- Identify and communicate design problems to the Line Manager.
- Collaborate with engineers to incorporate suggestions into drawings.
- E nsure final designs meet building regulations.
- Foster positive communication with team members, management, vendors, and clients.
- Meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
- Perform additional duties as required by the department or Line Manager.
Requirements:
- More than five years of experience in a similar field.
- Good working knowledge of control panels and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in Eplan, Propanel, P8 Software, Autodesk, and AutoCAD.
- Minimum Diploma Degree in a relevant field, preferably electrical background.
