IT Service Delivery Manager Role Overview

This position oversees the IT Service Delivery Team, ensuring end-users receive appropriate IT Support. The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for monitoring productivity and quality to meet Service Level Agreements and implementing industry best practices.

The role involves supporting and provisioning end-user technology, including desktops, laptops, printers, and multi-function devices. Staff relocation moves, senior executive support, and project delivery are also key responsibilities.

  • To utilize the IT Service Management platform for incident, problem, and request management.
  • To meet or exceed service level agreements with timeframes.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with business associates.
  • Presentation of the IT MI Report in monthly meetings.
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printing, mobile, and other assets.
  • Building good relationships with IT colleagues, especially technical resolver groups.
  • End-user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency.
  • Participation in team meetings for communication, challenges faced, and updates on efficiency and effectiveness.

This role requires strong personal skills, analytical abilities, and effective prioritization. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong documentation skills, and experience working in a team-oriented environment.

Required qualifications include a postgraduate degree with 8+ years of experience in IT Operations/Service Delivery roles, ITIL certification preferred, and knowledge of the latest trends in technology.
