Job Title: Maintenance of Transaction Integrity Officer

  • Depending on the experience of the candidate, some or all the following responsibilities will be assigned:
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to perform thorough investigations into transaction monitoring alerts and cases.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure that investigations are accomplished in accordance with bank procedure standards to address potential ML/TF risks.
  • Raise escalations as appropriate when suspicious transactions or behavior cannot be mitigated.
  • Meet all assigned individual and team KPI deliveries on productivity, quality, process all alerts and cases within the mandated timeframe.
  • Accountable for ensuring the proper audit trail is complete for all alerts/cases.
  • Perform or support autonomous reviews and investigations, including complex and confidential cases.
  • Coordinate and/or prepare management information reporting data for local, regional or global submission as applicable.
  • Support transaction monitoring related initiatives and project work, providing SME inputs and performing UAT as assigned.
  • Promptly escalate issues to the Team Manager as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts and cases.
  • Ensure investigations meet bank procedure standards.
  • Raise escalations when necessary.
  • Meet KPI deliveries on productivity and quality.
  • Ensure proper audit trails are maintained.
  • Perform autonomous reviews and investigations.
  • Coordinate management reporting.
  • Support transaction monitoring initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in AML roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • A background in AML/CTF Investigations or Financial Crime related Investigations.
  • Familiarity with diverse banking products across business lines.
  • Experience working on transaction monitoring and case management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to work well within a team.
  • Relevant AML or related certifications (CAMS, ICA Diploma etc.).
  • Previous law enforcement experience will be an asset.
