We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Development Manager to join our team in Bengaluru, India. This role will play a critical part in driving the growth and expansion of our market presence.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic business development initiatives, managing client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets. The Insurance Business Development Manager will report directly to the Regional Director of Business Development and will have a dotted line reporting to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with iTCart's global business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive growth and expand iTCart's market share.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the business development team, setting clear goals and objectives, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decision-making.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the development of high-quality proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing iTCart's value proposition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the delivery of innovative and scalable solutions that meet client needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business development activities comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field. Master's degree or additional qualifications in AI, insurance, or technology management is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the insurance or technology sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, as well as knowledge of AI-powered solutions.
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
Salary: ₹25,00,000 - ₹40,00,000 per annum
