Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and developing products for manufacturing. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled engineer to join our team as a senior mechanical design engineer.

The role involves generating designs that meet customer specifications and offer safe and reliable operation. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and detail products, ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with customer requirements and current legislation.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead troubleshooting activities are also essential.

The key qualifications include:

  • Excellent understanding of design for manual assembly and batch manufacturing, including error proofing techniques.
  • Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
