Exciting opportunity for a senior mechanical design professional to lead piping system projects from conceptualization to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mechanical engineering and exceptional proficiency in 3D design tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Piping Design & Leadership: Oversee piping design activities, including layout, pipe rack design, and support services. Utilize 3D modeling software to create deliverables such as general arrangement drawings, piping layouts, and spool drawings.
  • 3D Modeling & Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review 3D models, perform clash checks, and resolve issues. Ensure seamless coordination and collaboration among engineering disciplines.
  • Technical Guidance & Quality: Provide technical expertise and design guidance to project team members. Ensure adherence to company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Establish effective communication channels with clients and external stakeholders. Foster strong relationships through excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a reputable institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in 3D design tools, preferably Plant 3D or Revit.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of standard piping engineering techniques and principles.
  • A good understanding of relevant industry codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools, including AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).
