This role is responsible for leading mechanical design aspects of projects, including layout, system design, and detailed engineering.

The project engineer will create and review mechanical design documents, including P&IDs, layout drawings, equipment specifications, and material take-offs (MTOs).

They will also review design calculations and equipment selection to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Additionally, the project engineer will assist in the design of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, piping, and other utilities, ensuring that all systems are integrated into the overall project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the mechanical design aspects of projects.
  2. Create and review mechanical design documents.
  3. Review design calculations and equipment selection.
  4. Assist in the design of mechanical systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications

This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and MS Project or Primavera for project management is required.
