Middleware Specialist

  • Patching, hot fixing, and managing security certificates are crucial tasks in this role.
  • The Middleware Administrator is responsible for restarting applications, purging logs, and communicating with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Monitoring applications based on tool capabilities and identifying Vulnerability Alert (VA) open points according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by the Security Operations Center (SOC) team is a key responsibility.
  • The role involves managing resource monitoring, Disaster Recovery (DR) activities, and application management on DR systems.
  • Middleware updates, upgrades, and installations of middleware products are also handled by the Middleware Administrator.
  • Managing downtimes, performance checks, and backups of middleware components is another critical task.
  • Administering server certificates and non-production refreshes is also part of the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general middleware tasks such as patching, hot fixing, SP administration, SSL administration, and log file rotation.
  • Application restarts, log purging activities, and communication with OEMs are essential responsibilities.
  • MiddleWare Application Security/Bug Patching Resource Monitoring (Infra) based on the capabilities of the tools VA Open Points based on the SOP provided by the SOC Team.
  • MiddleWare Release Updates Middleware Upgrades based on the SOP provided by the OEM and Application Team Installation and Configuration of Middleware Products Deployments of Middleware and Application Management of Application Downtimes Performance and Health Check of Middleware Services Backups of Middleware and Application Components Server Certificate Management Non-Prod Refreshes.

Preferred Qualifications: Immediate Joiners Preferred. This role requires an individual with strong technical skills and experience in middleware administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently. A strong understanding of security protocols and procedures is also necessary. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication and teamwork skills. As a Middleware Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
