Pilates Instructor Opportunity

As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients to participate in Pilates classes. Your role will involve teaching various levels of Pilates classes, from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, to individuals and small groups.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their goals and develop personalized Pilates programs based on their posture type and ability.
  • Your responsibilities will include conducting verbal screenings to ensure client safety and advising them on what to do if they are not suitable for participation.
  • Promoting the benefits of Pilates and overall general health benefits of exercise is also essential.
  • Teaching Pilates classes of mixed ability, catering for varying needs within a class and offering adaptations, progressions, and modifications as necessary.
  • Creating a welcoming environment and putting clients at ease is crucial for success in this role.
  • Engaging class participants and encouraging client retention through rapport-building and understanding client goals is vital.
  • Checking the area for safety and reporting any risks is also an important responsibility.
