Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI UI/UX designer who can elevate our dashboards and reports to the next level. Unlike a generic dashboard developer, this role focuses on crafting visually compelling, user-friendly, and intuitive BI experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design principles, data storytelling, and Power BI customization, ensuring that every visualization not only conveys insights but also engages and delights the end user.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on aesthetics, usability, and storytelling.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure dashboards are intuitive, easy to navigate, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into elegant visualization solutions.
  • Customize visuals, themes, layouts, and interactions in Power BI to create impactful user experiences.
  • Optimize dashboard performance while maintaining high design quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest visualization trends and Power BI features to continuously improve design standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience designing UI/UX for Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visually compelling and user-centric BI dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Power BI customization, including themes, bookmarks, and advanced visuals.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles.
  • Experience in data storytelling—turning complex datasets into clear and engaging narratives.
