Job Description:

Our organization seeks a skilled Senior Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in cloud computing, data engineering, and GCP services.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in GCP Cloud, specifically in data ingestion, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines. Strong knowledge of GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, Bigquery, Airflow/Composer, Python(preferred)/Java, and database management systems (SQL and NoSQL) is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data processing architectures on GCP.
  • Developing efficient ETL pipelines using Python/Java and GCP services.
  • Ensuring high-quality data ingestion and processing, meeting business requirements and scalability needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data processing systems with other applications.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud data engineering and GCP services.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in cloud data engineering and GCP services.

Strong understanding of data ingestion, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines.

Proficiency in GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, Bigquery, Airflow/Composer, Python(preferred)/Java, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
