This position requires a highly skilled professional to provide technical support for business applications in an investment banking environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the primary contact for front office and middle office applications, responding promptly to system alerts and user-reported issues, investigating and analyzing incidents to determine root causes, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to applications, databases, and integrations, and providing timely updates to stakeholders on incident status.
This role also involves maintaining accurate records of incidents, solutions, and changes in the production environment, creating and updating support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures, and ensuring adherence to change management processes and policies.
- Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Years of Experience: 8+ years supporting business applications.
- Skills: AWS, Jira, Unix/Linux environments, database technologies such as SQL Server, programming languages and scripting languages, ITIL processes, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
