Candidates with expertise in software development are sought to join a dynamic and innovative team. We are looking for a highly skilled Ruby on Rails developer who can work effectively in a hybrid mode, utilizing their skills in software design, implementation, and delivery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering solutions for our strategic program management solution, working closely with the technical architect, product design team, quality assurance, and other software engineers to build innovative features.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features within the product according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes
  • Ensure that developed code adheres to the performance requirements of a SaaS product, leveraging knowledge of CI/CD technologies and best practices
  • Build front-end software using React/Javascript according to visual designs provided by the UX team, collaborating with stakeholders to understand user needs
  • Implement corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails, maintaining existing applications and fast resolution of customer-raised issues within the software
  • Write unit tests to ensure high-quality Ruby on Rails code within our infrastructure, estimating, self-planning, and self-managing tasks as a developer within an Agile team
  • Document process and software changes when necessary, protecting confidential data and following information security protocols

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline, with a strong understanding of software engineering and best practices
  • 3-9 years of professional software development experience, with proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript with React capability desirable, SQL, and database use
  • Knowledge of CI/CD technologies, understanding of SaaS application architecture and design with Azure knowledge desirable, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid mode
