Maintenance Operations Supervisor

The position of Maintenance Operations Supervisor is available in our Reefer Container service operations at Uran Depot.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations for reefer containers, ensuring depot readiness and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage workflow for corrective jobs, preventive maintenance, and Pre-Trip Inspections (PTIs), promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
  • Assess technical issues, determine troubleshooting procedures, and provide guidance to technicians as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex reefer technical problems.
Team Management:
  • Supervise and assign tasks to technicians for reefer jobs and PTIs, monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Evaluate technician skill development, job quality, and SLA compliance, making recommendations for improvement when necessary.
Purchasing & Inventory Control:
  • Approve purchase orders for reefer spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely delivery and adequate inventory levels.
  • Verify Goods Received Notes (GRNs) with the Inventory Coordinator and monitor returns for spare parts.
Client Services & Business Development:
  • Review completed job orders and prepare detailed service reports for clients, highlighting key accomplishments and areas for improvement.
  • Confirm job closure and issue closure communications, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 7–10 years' experience in reefer container service and maintenance, including 3–4 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
