Spare Parts Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the management of spare parts in our container service yard.
- This role involves maintaining optimal stock levels of reefer container spare parts, ensuring systematic arrangement of spares in the yard/warehouse, and overseeing distribution of spares to technicians.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory/warehouse management, preferably in logistics, cold chain, or container maintenance.
- Additionally, a strong track record in reducing costs while maintaining quality and availability is required.
- Maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound stock, returned/damaged items, and generate weekly/monthly usage and cost reports.
- Conduct periodic stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to maintain 100% accuracy in records.
- Liaise with vendors for timely procurement of spare parts, negotiate for best pricing, and ensure quality compliance.
- Experience: 4–6 years of inventory/warehouse management experience, preferably in logistics, cold chain, or container maintenance.
- Vendor Management: Proven ability to handle supplier negotiations and build reliable vendor relationships.
- Cost Optimisation: Strong track record in reducing costs while maintaining quality and availability.
