Senior Audit Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Professional to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations to deliver exceptional client service to real estate, technology, and financial services clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations to deliver exceptional client service to real estate, technology, and financial services clients.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of audits from staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors while promoting open communication with engagement partners.
  • Collaborate with engagement partners on client issue resolution and provide recommendations on legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during audits.
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently.
  • Create and track engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies.
  • Conduct constructive discussions with team members on evaluations and provide counsel accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA is preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Experience auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, along with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem-solving skills.
