Job Overview

As an Assurance Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statement audits. This position requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements to identify any discrepancies or areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior professionals to discuss findings and develop effective solutions.
  • Perform assigned audit procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop a basic understanding of accounting and reporting principles.
  • Assist in the completion of allocated tasks to meet set deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Chartered Accountant qualification with relevant experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Excellent logical and reasoning skills.
  • Proactive approach to delivering accurate results and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other US accounting systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
