Job Opportunity:  We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with popular testing tools and frameworks, CI/CD practices, and be comfortable working in Agile environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Automate API testing for faster regression and continuous validation.
  • Design and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
  • Log, track, and manage bugs and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Build and manage test automation pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using primary IDEs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Ensure complete test coverage and conduct smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
  • Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in API testing, both manual and automated.
  • Experience with test management tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML formats.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in end-to-end automation framework development.
  • Exposure to web UI automation tools or frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
  • Experience working on real-time applications in domains like e-commerce or finance.
