SQL Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with expertise in Azure Data Engineer to join our data team. Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL Server development, including T-SQL, indexing, and query optimization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work on designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for data processing and reporting.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data pipelines. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, and error handling.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for data processing and reporting.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
  • Perform data modelling, database design, and query performance tuning.
  • Manage data workflows between on-premise systems and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, indexing, query optimisation).
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory for building data pipelines.
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data transformation.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, and error handling.

  • Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, or related field.
