Automation Testing Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, with a focus on data handling using Pandas, and familiarity with Selenium for basic UI automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Python and relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve defects identified during testing.
  • Work with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of total IT experience, with at least 2 years in automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, including data handling using Pandas.
  • Familiarity with Selenium for basic UI automation.
  • Hands-on experience with RegEx for text extraction and validation.
  • Experience with LLMs like GPT and prompt engineering for data extraction tasks.
  • Expertise in QA automation, with a focus on integration testing and end-to-end validation.
  • Proficiency in API testing using Postman.
  • Skills in writing SQL queries for SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Working knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, and AWS in a CI/CD environment.
  • Experience with JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Strong functional testing skills, including test planning, execution, and regression testing.
  • Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Well-versed in STLC, BLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proactive in reporting status, raising issues, and working in dynamic environments.
