Project Manager Role

The role of a Project Manager is crucial to the success of any organization. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project delivery to meet customer expectations and ensure business value.
  • Create and maintain project artifacts such as project plans and JIRA boards.
  • Track risks and issues, facilitate problem resolution, and manage communication and escalation in a timely manner.
  • Provide project status reports and debriefs to leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product teams, developers, testers, and project managers.
  • Act as liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment.
  • Provide go-live and post-implementation support to ensure solution effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the utilities domain.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in the utilities (water, gas, electric) industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Experienced in leading projects utilizing standard project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, promote effective communication, resolve conflict, and handle conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and keen interest in delivering high-quality deliverables.
