Senior Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect with expertise in healthcare systems to support our team on a part-time basis. The architect will be responsible for designing and documenting the overall system architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs, and delivering high-quality technical documentation and diagrams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the system architecture, aligning it with business requirements and industry standards.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration details, and implementation guidelines to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, workflows, and data flow diagrams to facilitate effective communication and project planning.
  • Collaborate closely with business, product, and development teams to ensure that the architecture meets all requirements and expectations.
  • Provide expert guidance on technology stack, integrations, scalability, and security best practices to ensure optimal system performance and compliance.
  • Review solutions to guarantee adherence to healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide architectural recommendations to drive project success.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Technical Architect in the healthcare domain is essential.
  • A strong background in enterprise architecture, system integration, and cloud solutions is required.
  • Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams (UML, ERD, workflow models, etc.) is necessary.
  • Hands-on knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI X12) is expected.
  • Familiarity with data security, privacy regulations, and healthcare compliance frameworks is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in government healthcare programs would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time role that can be performed from anywhere with occasional visits to the office required.
