About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished SCADA system architect to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. Your expertise in real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions will be pivotal in ensuring seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 40 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking OEE downtime analysis, traceability SPC etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLC, SCADA HMIs and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95 ISA88, ISA99 IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
