Job Description

The role of an Internal Communications Specialist involves providing expert guidance and support to senior leadership on internal communication best practices. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational programs and initiatives, as well as fostering collaboration and gathering insights from multiple internal collaborators at all levels of the organization.

This position requires strong project management skills and experience in managing complex communication projects, ensuring delivery of messages across various channels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Critical Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives and values.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant information and updates for internal distribution.
  • Developing and implementing communication plans for both internal and external audiences.
  • Lead employee engagement activities such as town hall meetings, webinars, and workshops.
  • Create engaging content for internal communications channels including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations.
  • Manage internal communication platforms and ensure content is accurate, relevant, and timely.
  • Leadership communications support.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leadership on internal communication best practices.
  • Ensure Siemens brand guidelines are followed in GBS communications both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) in internal communications and preferably working closely with the HR Team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and gather insights from multiple internal collaborators at all levels of the organization.
