Senior Engineering Project Manager

About this role:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Engineering Project Manager to spearhead our IT projects at a global scale. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality results within defined scope, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Strategically plan, execute, and deliver complex IT infrastructure and software projects, ensuring seamless transitions from initiation to closure.
  • Coordination and Communication: Effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients to gather requirements, align expectations, and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and ensure timely stakeholder communication at every stage, fostering transparency and accountability.
  • Risk Management and Escalation: Proactively identify potential risks, troubleshoot challenges, and escalate critical issues when required, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory compliance, and internal quality frameworks, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Transition Support: Provide seamless support during project handovers to operational teams, ensuring continuity and minimizing disruptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in IT project coordination or engineering, preferably with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of IT systems, including servers, cloud computing, networks, and applications.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Tools and Certifications: Proficiency in project management tools, such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, and certifications like ITIL, PMP, or Agile/Scrum (desired).
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: A strong problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
