Job Opportunity:

Seeking an experienced Refractory Manager to oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of refractory linings in furnaces, boilers, kilns, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise refractory and insulation teams during hot and cold insulation works for pipelines, equipment, and structures.
  • Verify selection and application of refractory materials such as fire bricks, castables, ceramic fiber, and insulating concretes.
  • Inspect refractory and insulation works to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with engineering standards.

Team Management:

Assign tasks, coordinate with project engineers and site managers, and train workers on installation techniques and safety practices.

Safety Protocols:

Enforce safety protocols during refractory, insulation, and in-situ casting operations, and conduct regular risk assessments.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain records of materials, manpower, and project progress, and prepare daily or weekly work reports to management.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in refractory management, strong leadership skills, and ability to communicate effectively with engineers and clients.
