Senior Quality Assurance Expert Wanted

We seek a meticulous Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to conduct thorough audits and drive process excellence in our quality management function. As part of a specialized team, you will be responsible for identifying trends, ensuring compliance with established processes, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular audits according to stipulated schedules while adhering to standardized operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business standards.
  • Analyze error patterns, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions or process improvements.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide timely feedback to vendor partners and support capability development.
  • Collaborate with onshore counterparts and BPO teams in calibration sessions.
  • Act as an expert on underwriting procedures, business rules, and quality governance.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of QA calibration guides for existing and new processes.
  • Responsible for resolving disputes in accordance with agreed action plans.
  • Log errors tracked and follow up on corrections by processors.
  • Participate in training sessions from business stakeholders and update SOPs accordingly.
  • Responsible for mentoring new starters and providing dedicated training for various processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in P&C insurance operations, focusing on European and London markets.
  • Minimum 2+ years of audit, quality assurance, or process excellence experience, preferably in a BPO or shared service environment.
  • Familiarity with multiple lines of business within commercial or specialty insurance (e.g., Property, Casualty, Marine, Terrorism, Financial Lines, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of compliance, control, and documentation standards in underwriting processes.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret and apply underwriting guidelines and identify control gaps.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across geographies and teams.
  • Working knowledge of policy administration systems, workflow tools, and audit platforms.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple audits with tight timelines.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment with matrixed teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience & Work Hours:
  • Background in shared services or BPO environments with experience as a Quality Auditor for global insurance back-office processes.
  • Experience working as a QA specialist in BPO vendor teams (e.g., Genpact).
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones (preferably UK and Europe).
