Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator & Support Engineer to manage, monitor, and support our Google Cloud Platform environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting GCP infrastructure services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc. They will also be responsible for monitoring system health, performance, and availability using GCP monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support GCP infrastructure services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using GCP monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
  • Manage user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.
  • Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for GCP services.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancers, Firewalls) within GCP.

  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions on GCP.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.

  • Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for GCP operations.
