Job Title: Technical Team Lead

Pure Storage seeks a hands-on leader to lead the Tools and Frameworks Team.

This role requires someone who can improve efficiency, streamline build-test pipelines, and drive faster development cycles.

  • Lead a team of talented software engineers to optimize automation strategies for faster feature delivery.
  • Collaborate with global teams to enhance pipeline stability and improve test determinism.
  • Work with stakeholders across multiple locations to develop and implement effective automation solutions.
  • Contribute to design, development, debugging, and making development pipelines robust.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of technical management experience, leading software engineers while remaining hands-on with software development, test automation, and troubleshooting.
  • 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Golang, or similar languages, with expertise in microservices, REST APIs, pytest, and developer tooling.
  • Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Deep understanding of automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable build-test automation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and managing complex automation systems.

Key Skills: Software engineering, project management, technical leadership, automation testing, CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, additional experience with cloud-based platforms, containerization, and DevOps tools.
